Masters of Dev program offers you a permanent job at OP and you will be paid a full salary from day one. Salary is determined individually based on your skills and work experience. We are looking for developers in both Helsinki and Oulu.

For whom?

The program is suitable for software developers who have worked for 1-4 years and are looking for more challenges and the opportunity to delve into different technologies in a great and professional team. We hope you are familiar with one of the following technologies: Java, C#, .NET, Python, Kotlin, and / or Javascript.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re front- or backend-oriented from your background - the main thing is that you’re interested in expanding your own skills and enjoy coding and working in agile teams.

Training content

Explore modern technologies and methods with trainers from the top of the industry

The trainings will be organized in cooperation with Barona IT in September-November 2020. The trainers are experts from Wunderdog, RisingStack and Polar Squad.


Bertalan Miklos, RisingStack
I’m an enthusiastic software engineer who loves building apps with React & Node.js. I’m a team leader within RisingStack, coordinating our back-end and front-end developers. I am also responsible for the company’s React training and held more than 15 open training sessions, as well as several in-house ones.
P​eter Czibik, RisingStack
I’m a team leader and senior trainer within RisingStack, helping companies adopt Node.js by holding training and consulting sessions for them. I’m also responsible for RisingStack’s Node.js & Microservices trainings, and held more than 10 open trainings as well as several in-house ones.
Miki Wiik, Wunderdog
Miki has 15 years of experience in software development with a focus on critical API implementations and integrations in AWS and on-premise environments. At Wunderdog, Miki has worked in a coaching role as a lead developer in projects whose main technologies are: React, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS
Joonas Lehtimäki, Polar Squad
Joonas is currently influencing DevOps at Polar Squad. He's a cloud and automation enthusiast with years of experience. He has a strong knowledge of modern tools from Kubernetes to CI/CD. Joonas is also a passionate hobby coder and dreams becoming a contributor or even maintainer of some cool opensource project, someday.

Interviews, suitability assessments, and job offers will be done as we go, already before the application period ends.


The persons selected for the program will start working at OP on September 1, 2020.


The trainings will start in September 2020, a more detailed schedule will be announced later.
